Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented administrative support resource to help drive efficiency across our team and run with various data driven and marketing focused projects. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to the internal team as well as executing on marketing campaigns for the college stores themselves. This role will also be responsible various ad hoc projects related to driving more traffic to the BookRenter platform and ultimately helping college stores increase their market share. In this position, you need to thrive in an environment where you’re given a task and can use your creativity and skills to figure out a way to get the job done.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the BookRenter sales team to manage and track stores contracts
- Manage the execution of email campaigns to the college stores
- Coordinate with external vendors on key tasks – for example, the delivery of marketing materials for stores
- Pull reports to monitor college store performance and highlight both positive and negative trends
- Research and present competitive store information
- Gather feedback and maintain the calendar of B2B and B2C activities for stores and their customers
- Provide administrative support including coordinating meetings, taking notes on action items, and summarizing next steps
Minimum Requirements:
- Solid Microsoft Office skills including expertise in Excel
- Experience with marketing automation tools
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
- Technical aptitude (for learning SQL)
- Excellent prioritization and organizational abilities
- Very strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, passionate startup environment
- Self-driven to achieve goals; high energy level is essential; dedicated work ethic a must.
- Positive, can-do attitude and sense of humor required
- Must be located in the Bay Area.
