Primary Responsibilities:
As Product Designer, you will:
- Be responsible for all aspects of our product's interface, experience, and visual design
- Generate hand-drawn sketches of proposed designs
- Generate low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups of proposed designs
- Conduct customer interviews and tests against both paper and digital prototypes
- Apply empirical methods (A/B and multivariate) to optimize designs for goal behaviors
- Work with external designers to scale and implement your vision
- Continuously self-educate in a manner consistent with a recognized product leader
As a Designer of Web Applications, you will additionally:
- Manage HTML, CSS, and asset production
- Establish and evangelize any applicable style guides
- Train other team members on modern front-end web production standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Visual, technical, and organizational mastery of Photoshop
- Fluent in freehand sketching, both on paper and whiteboards
- Experience with Fireworks and Illustrator highly desirable
- Experience conducting A|B tests in goal-oriented web and Facebook applications
- Demonstrated success designing for Facebook
- High level of personal discipline
- Demonstrated success driving designs from concept to launch
