Position Summary:

The Operations team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and well-organized person to help provide support and maintain supplier relationships. We are looking for an individual with a strong customer service background who is able to comfortably interact with partners in email and over the phone.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contact suppliers to inform them of any orders that have not been acknowledged or show tracking within SLA.

  • Contact suppliers to inform them of an issue regarding an order they received/fulfilled.  This includes, but is not limited to cases involving: shipping delays, incorrect/damaged items sent, carrier issues.

  • Contact customers to inform them of any issue regarding a delay in receiving their shipment. This includes, but is not limited to cases involving: items damaged/discarded in transit, incorrect address provided, natural disasters, etc.

  • Build and maintain solid relationships with our suppliers by phone

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to recognize pertinent details and make quick accurate decisions regarding issues with suppliers
  • Must be well organized
  • Strong customer service focus, demonstrated high level of courtesy, friendliness on phone
  • The ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude; the ability to gladly meet and overcome challenges
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented but able to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Demonstrated, creative problem solving skills and proven ability to practice sound judgment
